Some companies use harmful solvents to extract their CBD molecules. PureKana’s process is a clean process commonly used with other botanical extractions. PureKana then infuses their CBD with a high quality MCT Oil and is a full spectrum oil.

Why Not Choose PureKana?
There are a few things that make this product inferior to other brands First, PureKana does not offer a Full Spectrum Oil. As a result PureKana only offers a Broad Spectrum Oil. Second, PureKana uses MCT Oil as their carrier oil . For that reason alone I would continue looking for a different 100% hemp oil product.
MCT Oil
MCT oil is considered a superfood by some and raises concerns with others. In the first place it hasn’t been on the market very long. Second, it is a synthetic, man made oil that started as (most commonly) as coconut oil or another oil. It is concocted in a laboratory and can not in any way be considered natural. There are many claims in the nutrition of MCT oil but it is still a saturated oil.

Hey Jamie,
Pretty balanced assessment of PureKana. Even though you offer a better alternative which I imagine has the full benefits of CBD, you have set out all the good things about Purekan CBD oil. I particularly like how the company’s products are free of things like fertilizers pesticides, herbicides, GMO etc.
Nevertheless it is very helpful to know where the oil has what can be considered as drawbacks (at least by some) such as how it is not a natural oil.

Hi Jamie. Thanks for your review, the product looks really attractive to me. The hot bath for instance is something pretty new and original I am guessing. As I don’t know any other company producing hot baths with CBD. Question on you. How trustable are the statements that hemp is grown without GMOs? As lately I think many CBD producing companies are claiming that, but not all provide with the tests as well.
I know most grown in Kentucky here in the United States are part of a U.S. Government Pilot Program. Right now there are no GMO hemp allowed. Currently hemp has no more then .3% THC and that must be maintained. I think it will take many years before anyone tries to tamper with the cash cow that is already near perfect.

I still haven’t tried Purekana’s CBD oils, but their edibles are out of this world. I higly reccomend their honey sticks, and I’m certain that they are one of the best on the market you’ll find.
It’s funny how I used to not believe in CBD drops and that fun stuff. And now, here I am – ordering packets every other week. My cupboard is full of them, and I keep on trying different brands as I’m getting them for free hahaa.

This PureKana sounds like a great product actually. I really like that they have gummies available since you don’t see that often. I’m going to check out their products for pets since I’ve been wanting to get some CBD for my dog during car rides. For some reason, she just started getting stressed on rides for no apparent reason.

Nice to know they extract the oils cleanly without the use of chemicals. I have tried their Gummies and found them to be a lot more tasteful than many others I have tried. I don’t like the idea of them using MCT which is a synthetic man-made oil as you have pointed out. For that, I will not be interested in their product especially where it’s still fairly new.
Your recommendation of HempWorx sounds like a better choice to me which I will have to check out. Thanks for informing the public concerning these companies.
